Impact Wrestling/GFW Tag Team Championship Unification Match

Latin American Xchange (c) vs. El Hijo del Fantasma & Drago vs. Laredo Kid & Garza Jr. vs. Naomicihi Marufuji & Taiji Ishimori

Marufuji starts things off with Santana, and the NOAH ace impresses with some stiff kicks and strikes followed by a standing dropkick. Laredo flies out of nowhere with a springboard splace and hits a reverse neckbreaker. Ishimori tags in for his team but ends up falling to the underhanded tactics of LAX, as Ortiz slows down the pace with a big slam and a nice looking Death Valley Driver for two. He eventually made the tag to Garza Jr. who comes in a house of fire, but spends a bit too much time posturing and runs into a hurricanrana by Ortiz into a superkick from Drago. El Hijo comes in with his partner and they start picking off everybody one by one. The numbers game from LAX comes into play yet again, with Konnan and Homicide running distraction on the outside, and Santana regains control of the match with a superkick to El Hijo del Fantasma. The champions go for the cover but there’s too many guys in the match left to break it up. There’s a big Tower of Doom spot as Garza, Laredo, Ortiz and Santana all go crashing to the ground. They build to the hot tag for Marufuji and the Japanese living legend fires up on everyone. Bodies are flying everywhere as we approach Young Buck levels of madness in this one. Fantasma plants him with a wicked Tornado DDT off the ropes but only picks up two. Garza, Laredo and Santana all fight up on the same turnbuckle and end up flying in three different directions with stereo moonsaults! Marufuji recovers and flies to the outside taking down the champions. Ishimori follows with a dive of his own and the NOAH challengers are rolling. Fantasma hits a spinning piledriver, shades of Kazuchika Okada, then dives to the outside with a tope suicida on Marufuji. Diamante tries to involve herself in the match yet again, but Garza ends up powerbombing her off the apron into a pile of humanity. Homicide takes advantage of the distraction and hits Garza with the Gringo Killer on the apron, rolls him back in, and the champions hit him with a Street Sweeper to retain.
