EC3 was the latest guest on Uncensored with Josh Mathews to discuss thoughts on his current status. Two weeks ago, EC3 defeated James Storm and Magnus to become the No. 1 contender for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship. Since GWF Global Champion Alberto El Patron believed that he had the “golden ticket” after defeating Magnus for the championship, it raised some conflict on who the No. 1 contender for Lashley’s Impact World Championship was. As a result, a steel cage match occurred last week to determine the real No. 1 contender, El Patron came out victorious, and the main event at Slammiversary is now official.

Infuriated of what transpired, EC3 shared his thoughts on losing his championship opportunity.

“What a crock of sh*t! I mean, you don’t just become number one contender and then it automatically comes up for grabs. I mean, this is the reason why the company got into dire straits the first place. This new management, this new regime comes in here and claims they want to make it great, again. Great phrase, by the way; never heard of that before. Then what makes it great? What makes winning a contest that I fought, died for, triple threat to become the number one contender. What makes it great to just throw it to the wind, throw it on a whim, put me inside a cage when I’m not prepared?

“I am a top level athlete who needs preparation. You don’t throw LeBron [James] into back-to-back games in the playoffs. You don’t throw EC3 into a cage match unprepared. It’s unprofessional. Of course I came up on the short end of the stick, because, I mean, by sheer emotion, all exhaustion alone, how am I gonna fight Patron in a cage? It’s insane, I’m disoriented, I’m disparful, and I’m despising just about everything.”

EC3 also comments on Impact Wrestling going to India, and being the first American wrestling company to televise a show from there. You can view the full interview in the video below.
