Man Arrested at WWE Buffalo Live Event

According to BuffaloNews.com, 26 year old David Thompson was arrested at Friday’s WWE live event in Buffalo, NY after being accused of improperly touching a woman, then injuring two security officers. The man was charged with second and third degree assault, forcible touching and disorderly conduct. The report adds security stopped and held Thompson at one point, but he bit one of them and injured the other.

Lucha Underground Premiering on Netflix

As a reminder, the first two seasons of Lucha Underground will premiere on Netflix this Wednesday, March 15th. The second half of the current season of the show will premiere on El Rey Network on July 15th.

Paige’s Dad Calls WWE UK Title Live Events a “Conspiracy”

As noted, WWE announced that the company will make its debut in Norwich, England with pair of live events, titled WWE Presents: UK Championship Live. The events will take place on Saturday, May 6th at 7pm, and Sunday, May 7th at 5pm.

WWE star Paige’s father, Ricky Knight, whose WAW promotion runs out of Norwich and will hold another set of TV tapings the week after the WWE live events. Knight recently spoke with BBC Radio and labeled WWE announcing its live events a “conspiracy”:

“The timing of the announcement, I wake up in the morning to this, about people running off our studio before our TV taping, and to me the timing is absolutely crap,” Knight said. “I think it’s a conspiracy somewhere, I’m going to say it straight out there.”
