In Ring Segment: Mick Foley

Foley is rocking a new haircut. He looks like a human being again, which is… different. Foley notes that he had a few New Years Resolutions, one of which was to make sure he writes the name of the city he is in so he doesn’t make the mistake he made last week. Before Foley can talk about his shark cage idea for the Royal Rumble, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho interrupt him. Owens tells Foley that he is tired of him abusing his power. Roman Reigns doesn’t deserve another title shot. Jericho adds that Seth Rollins attacked him but instead of being punished, Rollins was rewarded. Jericho helped his best friend retain the WWE Universal title but instead of being rewarded he is being stuck in the shark cage… of Jericho. Lock him in, maaaaaan.

Owens says enough is enough. It is a new year and they aren’t putting up with this any longer. Foley tells him that he is right. Owens is always talking about “The Kevin Owens Show”, but we have never seen it. Foley says he is going to kick off the new year giving Owens his own talk show. His first guest will be Goldberg! Owens asks Foley what give him the right to abuse his power. Stephanie McMahon walks to the ring and tells Owens and Jericho that Foley has every right to make the decisions he has been making… although she wishes Foley would have consulted her about the putting Jericho in the shark cage. Follow adds that he wishes Stephanie would have consulted him about putting Sami Zayn in a last man standing match with Braun Strowman. Stephanie says she would have but Foley wanted to be home for Christmas.
