Backstage, Strowman runs into Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Owens says after he beats Reigns at the Rumble, Strowman should be next in line for a title shot. Strowman tells Owens to be careful what he wishes for. Jericho and Owens try to goad Strowman into going after Reigns as well.
Backstage Goldust and R-Truth are talking. Bayley walks in and says she has a gift for Goldust. She hands him a stuffed bear with polka dots on it. Bayley says she wouldn’t be the number one contender if it wasn’t for the teachings of Dusty Rhodes while she was in NXT. Goldust thanks her and they hug. Gallows and Anderson interrupt and rip the head off the bear.

Scarlet is wearing Sasha Banks shirt. Jax beats the breaks of off Scarlet. Jax hits a Samoan drop for the win.
