According to a recent press release cited by NEPA Scene, last week’s 900th episode of WWE Smackdown Live in Wilkes-Barre, PA was the highest grossing, highest paid attendance and the highest walk-up sales for a ‘WWE Smackdown’ event in the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza’s 17-year history.
Additionally, this was the first-ever sold out Smackdown in the building’s history; the venue last hosted a live television show back in 2009 when it hosted WWE RAW.
