ROH & NJPW Star Matt Taven Returns From Injury at Arena Mexico, Ciampa & Gargano Post The Most Awkward “Glorious Bomb” Yet (Video)

Matt Taven Returns to the Ring in Mexico

Matt Taven, who has been out since December with a torn ACL, made his return to the ring last night for CMLL on ClaroSports.com. He was part of a six-man match teaming with Mr. Niebla and Shocker, against Maximo Sexy, Volador, Jr. and Mascara Dorada, who is working his last dates in Mexico before becoming a full-time member of the WWE Cruiserweight division as Gran Metalik.

It will be interesting to see where Taven goes from here. Prior to injury he was working with Ring of Honor and New Japan as a member of The Kingdom, alongside Adam Cole, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis. Cole has since regained the ROH World Championship, and of course Bennett and wife Maria have moved on to Impact Wrestling, leaving the stable essentially disbanded.

Ring of Honor recently announced a working relationship with CMLL, and both have partnerships with New Japan resulting in numerous co-produced events throughout the year.

The Most Awkward “Glorious Bomb” Yet

Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano are finishing up their independent dates this weekend, but managed to get one last “Glorious Bomb” on the road with a few wrestling legends. Warning: the following video features the incredible awkwardness that can only come from a naked Tommy Dreamer, and the famous foul mouth of a WWE Hall of Famer. Make sure you watch to the end.
