Alberto Del Rio Reveals Possible MMA Plans

As noted, Alberto Del Rio held a press conference today in Mexico to address his WWE departure, and during the event, Del Rio noted he is in negotiations to become the President of an MMA Promotion, as well as an MMA Commentator.

WWE Awards Scholarships to Three Former Talents

WWE has announced the recipients of the 2016 scholarships, which will see $5,000 awarded to former talents who are pursuing further education:

-Jamie Keyes, the former WWE NXT Season three talent and ring announcer, who is working on a master’s degree in nursing.

-Kim Nielsen, a former WWF developmental talent for then-developmental promotion HWA (who would go on to work for TNA as Desire) who is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Addiction and Recovery with a minor in Christian Counseling at Liberty University.

-Antonio Thomas, who worked on the main roster as one half of the Heart Throbs who is working towards completing a master’s degree in Elementary Education while pursuing doctoral work.
