WWE Confirms Dates For NXT Australia Tour
WWE has officially confirmed dates for the first ever NXT live tour of Australia and New Zealand. The promotion will be headed down under December 5-15th, with tickets going on sale September 5th.
Still no word on whether or not WWE plans to air a Takeover special or any sort of WWE Network special event from Australia or New Zealand. Last year’s Takeover: London special aired on December 16th and the 2014 Takeover: R Evolution aired on December 11th.
It seems likely that they would run some kind of event, in part because of the unique opportunity to run a special in Australia, but also because logistically, if they push it back for the tour, the first time they could do it domestically would be just four days before Christmas.
