WWE superstar Sheamus spoke with Brian Fritz at the WWE 2k17 media event last night, and during the interview Sheamus talks about the new WWE 2K17 game, his role in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” and if there will be another one, refocusing in WWE, his best-of-seven series against Cesaro including their match at SummerSlam and much more.
On his year in WWE, Sheamus talked his run as WWE Champion last year and says he feels like he’s starting over again this year. He says he’s looking forward to “tearing the roof off the place” in his best of 7 series in WWE, and feels this is sort of a “reset” for him right now in WWE. He talked about the League of Nations, and how that didn’t necessarily work out, and he said back when he won MITB he wasn’t sure if his cash-in would be successful because of where he was in WWE.
Sheamus went on to talk about how people forget that he was the guy who could go out on TV week after week and have great matches, and he wants to get back to that place in WWE. He looks forward to going out there with Cesaro and show the fans the two men in WWE, as the rest of the locker room are just boys.
