Cody Rhodes vs Zack Sabre Match Result
Former WWE star Cody Rhodes made his return to wrestling tonight at the EVOLVE 66 iPPV in Maryland. Rhodes defeated Zack Sabre, Jr in the main event of the night, and used the American Nightmare to submit Sabre.
After the match, Rhodes and Sabre shook hands, then Rhodes cut a promo about how his passion for the wrestling business is burning bright. He teased continuing to appear for EVOLVE in the future.
Dolph Ziggler Performs at NYC Improv Theater
WWE star Dolph Ziggler appeared at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Manhattan tonight and performed in a UCBW wrestling themed comedy event called “ReVengeance”.
Ziggler interrupted the “main event” of the show, came out and cut a promo on the audience and the babyface main eventer. Ziggler thanked the crowd and said it’s people like them that make wrestling great and it’s performers like the UCB players that help make wrestling great. Ziggler then turned heel on the crowd and said it’s actually people like them that give wrestling a bad name, and he added he bets they are all Dean Ambrose fans. Ziggler then superkicked the babyface UCB player causing the heel to win the main event and the UCBW Title. Ziggler went on to deliver superkicks to all of the players on the stage for the main event match.
Ziggler ended his appearance by grabbing the mic once again and calling the fans “marks” before he dropped the mic and left. Below are some photos:
