Former NXT Superstar Mojo Rawley made his main roster debut tonight following a match between Rusev and Zack Ryder for the Intercontinental Championship. The big man rushed the ring at WWE Battleground to save his former “Hype Bros” tag team partner from the grips of the “Bulgarian Brute” after he refused to release the Accolade.
Mojo was recently drafted to WWE Smackdown as a partner of the supplemental draft in the 11th and final round. While it is possible Mojo and Rusev will feud heading into next month’s SummerSlam event, it seems unlikely given that the Intercontinental Champ and his fiance Lana were drafted to Raw this past Tuesday night, while Mojo and Ryder will reside exclusively on Smackdown.
