According to Chase Merriman, who was in attendance for tonight’s WWE RAW, the dark match after tonight’s show saw AJ Styles and Seth Rollins face Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn.
Ambrose got the win by hitting Dirty Deeds to send the crowd home happy.
Solid Gold
As noted earlier, WWE has applied for a new trademark for the name “Solid Gold”, but there was no indication what the name was for other than it was related to use for / by a talent.
For what it’s worth, a few fans have noted that ‘Solid Gold’ is the name of R-Truth and Goldust (The Golden Truth)‘s combination finishing maneuver.
Triple A Home Run Derby
Former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone posted the following photo of a title belt to be awarded to the winner of tonight’s (MiLB) Triple A Home Run Derby in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The derby was won by Pawtucket Red Sox Chris Marrero, who was congratulated by WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter, also in attendance for tonight’s festivities. You can click here to view the gallery including Slaughter, and check out the title belt below:
