WWE Smackdown
Wrestling statistician Darren Bongiovanni noted that tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown was the first time in nearly five months that Golden Truth, R-Truth and Goldust, wrestled someone besides Tyler Breeze and Fandango.
Golden Truth last faced a new opponent on the January 8th episode of WWE Superstars when they faced The Ascension; they teamed against the Dudley Boyz on tonight’s show.
Additionally, tonight’s show marked Jack Swagger’s first singles match on regular broadcast TV (RAW/Smackdown) since he lost to Alberto Del Rio back on December 21st, 2015.
