New comedy out this summer with “Diamond” Dallas Page, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Tommy Dreamer and is also the final film of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper!
The first teaser trailer for the comedy film, The Bet is now available to view online.
The Bet tells the story of Denton Baker, a loser in life and love who gets into a high stakes bet where he has one summer to find and hook up with every girl he had a crush on growing up from 1st grade to 12th grade.
The Bet stars “Diamond” Dallas Page as Mr. Baker, an eccentric inventor and the father of Denton, and Jake “The Snake” Roberts as Mr. Lucas, a successful businessman whose company is up for grabs as part of the bet.
The Bet also features, in his final on screen appearance, WWE Hall of Famer, the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as Denton’s concerned neighbor, Mr. Jablonski, as well as an appearance from ECW’s Tommy Dreamer as a confused umpire.
In addition to Page, Roberts, Piper and Dreamer, The Bet features cameos from a host of faces in the comedy and music worlds including Hip Hop icon, Chuck D (Public Enemy), comedians like Gerry Bednob (The 40 Year Old Virgin), Dave England (Jackass), Dian Bachar (BASEketball) and many more!
