Kevin Owens Talks Ladder Match at WrestleMania, Criticizes Stephanie’s Match Decision, Calls Zack Ryder’s Career a “Disappointment”, More

WWE IC Champion Kevin Owens is the guest on this week’s sit down interview with Michael Cole. Below are some highlights.

When asked about the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match at WrestleMania 32 featuring Sami Zayn, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Stardust and Sin Cara, Owens admits he wasn’t happy when Stephanie McMahon made the match, but adds he has no problem defending the title in a ladder match. He said the problem he has with the match is that none of his opponents deserve a shot at the IC Title, and Stephanie put them all in a “precarious” situation.

Cole says he is excited to hear Zack Ryder’s music play for the first time ever at WrestleMania, but Owens says the night will end in disappointment and heartbreak for Ryder. Owens added Ryder’s whole career has pretty much been disappointment and heartbreak.

Owens finished by saying the ladder match at ‘Mania will go down in history as the best ladder match ever at the event, and he will successfully defend his title at the big PPV.
