Mick Foley ESPN – WWE Recap: Foley Reveals His Favorite WrestleMania Moments, Talks Shane vs ‘Taker, Hell in a Cell Expectations, More

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was the guest on ESPN’s WWE Off the Top Rope segment on SportsCenter last night, and below is a recap as well as videos of Foley’s appearance.

The first video below features Jonathan Coachman’s top Mick Foley WrestleMania moments which includes Foley’s debut as Mankind, being put through the flaming table by Edge and more.

When Foley then joined the show he revealed Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat from WrestleMania 3 to be his favorite ‘Mania match as a fan. From a wrestler standpoint, his favorite moment was his first at WrestleMania 13 in 1997 when Steve Austin and Bret Hart had their classic match. Foley said he and Edge put a lot of pressure on themselves to have a WrestleMania moment when they did the flaming table spot, and he believes they were successful.

Foley then talked Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell, and said he thinks the structure was designed for guys like Shane and ‘Taker. He said whenever someone steps inside Hell in a Cell they are trying to live up to the legacy of the cell, and it gives them the opportunity to redefine the word “anything”.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
