As noted, Indian Media reported yesterday that The Great Khali had suffered a “severe head injury” and was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital during the first ever “The Great Khali Wrestling Show” event.
While it’s still unclear whether or not the entire ordeal is a work or a shoot, India.com has released more details on the angle and it’s not being treated like a work. The report claims Khali suffered head injuries, needed 7 stitches to close a wound, and also complained of back and chest pains.
The report adds Khali was later moved to another hospital for a CT scan and treatment for chest injuries.
What makes the situation appear more a work than a shoot, the report also obtained comments from Khali, who said that he is recovering well and will soon “get revenge” on his opponents.
