WWE star AJ Styles is the guest on this week’s sit down interview with Michael Cole, and below are some interview highlights:

-Styles says it’s still surreal that he is a part of WWE, and many people still don’t believe it. He says he took the “long route” to get to WWE.

-On his WWE tryout years ago, and Michael Cole asking “why now” is he in WWE, Styles said it’s all about timing. He said when WWE bought WCW his contract was not picked up by WWE, but he wouldn’t have been ready for WWE at that time anyway. He says everything happens for a reason, and now he has arrived in WWE.

-On his debut at Royal Rumble, Styles admits he was worried the WWE fans wouldn’t know who he is, but when the crowd popped big for him he said he felt like he was melting and it was a feeling he will never forget.

-On Chris Jericho, Styles said he could not ask for a better first opponent. He said him and Jericho are similar in that they both took the long road to WWE.

-On working for WWE vs other companies, Styles jokes the biggest difference is catering. He then praised the WWE locker room and said even though he has only been with the company for a few weeks it has been the the best few weeks of his career:
