ESPN Host Not Happy with Steve Austin’s Titus O’Neil Comments

ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” host Bomani Jones expressed his displeasure with the choice of words Steve Austin used when he referred to Titus O’Neil “Shucking and Jiving” during the incident which took place on Raw with Vince McMahon.

Jones took to Twitter and called Austin’s comment an “unfortunate choice of words” and also wrote the following:

“when you try to say something wasn’t racist, but you say ‘shucking and jiving.’ that’s unfortunate.”

TNA Star Re-Signs

TNA has announced the following:

TNA Executive Vice-President of Television and Talent Relations John Gaburick has announced IMPACT WRESTLING has reached a multi-year agreement with Gregory Shane Helms. “Shane has been an integral part of the behind the scenes operations of IMPACT WRESTLING and we look forward to having him part of the team for years to come”, said Gaburick.

WrestleMania Update

Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald has published a new article about Orlando possibly hosting WrestleMania.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said they would love to get in a rotation where WrestleMania returns there every 4-6 years, and he confirmed the city has bids placed for WrestleMania 33 in 2017 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

“We’re in a competition right now, and we understand it’s down to a handful of cities for 2017. We put in bids for both 2017 [WrestleMania 33] and 2018 [WrestleMania 34]”, said Dyer.
