On how his appearance on The Steve Austin Show came together:

RS: I was going to get in to it on my podcast this week (The Sheet Podcast) but yeah. Basically, I reached out to him about the Making A Murderer story. The one that you mentioned with X-Pac. The half brother had told me that Brendan was a huge Stone Cold fan. So I reached out to Steve and was like, “Hey, are you watching Making A Murderer by any chance?” He got back to me and was like, “Hell yeah I am watching Making A Murderer!” We started nerding out about it. Similar to what you heard on the show. The interview that we did. Then we just started talking about my website and I kind of told him what I was doing. He was familiar with my work at TMZ. We talked a few times when I was at TMZ. He was interested in what I am trying to do with ProWrestlingSheet.com and so he was like, “Do you want to come on and talk about it?” I was like, “Hell yeah!”

On whether or not he took Stone Cold Steve Austin up on his offer during the podcast to share a beer after the show even tho he doesn’t drink that often:

RS: I’m not like an all the time drinker. I can drink. It’s just not my favorite thing to do. Did I have a beer with Steve Austin? Oh hell yeah! It was one of the first things I said to him before we started recording and then we didn’t drink. I was like, “Alright, we gotta drink a beer dude. You said you owe me one of the show. We got to drink a beer.” I had one of his Stone Cold beers, the Broken Skull IPA and… it’s so good. Like you said, I’m not a huge drinker. Maybe it’s because I’m not a big fan of the taste of beer all the time. Or, liquor in general. I have to say, his Broken Skull IPA did taste really good. It went down easy. A solid drink.

On whether he was surprised that Steve Austin did not know current pro wrestling news items like if Dixie Carter is still in charge of TNA:

RS: No, I’m not surprised. Honestly, there’s a lot of wrestling on TV right now. It’s not easy to keep up with all of it. I know he does the best he can. He was pretty up to date with things except for since they moved to POP TV. I get it. There are some people who have tuned out of TNA a bit because they have lost their trust in them. They do more reading about what happens in TNA that actually watch it. I personally watch TNA every week. I try to watch it every week. It’s definitely not WWE. You can maybe miss a week and not be totally out of the loop in what’s happening with the wrestling world.
