Former WWE Referee and Bloggers Make Early WrestleMania 32 Match Predictions

jimmy-korderasJimmy Korderas, Blake Mitchamore and Shane Shoemaker wrote a joint blog for CSRWrestling.com with their early WrestleMania 32 match predictions. Check out some highlights:

KORDERAS:

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match – HHH vs Roman Reigns

This match is almost a lock for WrestleMania 32. One of these two men will be WWE champ after the Rumble. In my article from last week, I offered scenarios for either man winning the title so I don’t want to rehash it here. Let’s just say that at the end of WrestleMania 32, Reigns will either recapture or successfully retain the WWE title. Some have suggested that maybe Brock Lesnar should face Reigns in a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania. I get that Lesnar was not pinned to lose the title and has not received his rematch yet but if he faces Reigns, the crowd will be split at best and likely more pro Lesnar. This would be counterproductive in the progression of Roman as champion. I see other plans for Brock.

Intercontinental Title – Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus

The IC title is beginning to gain relevance once again and what better way to make the title feel important than to have a recent WWE title holder chase the IC title. This would accomplish two goals, continuing to elevate the championship as I stated and giving Dean Ambrose a much needed decisive victory over a main event level talent. A big win on the biggest stage for Ambrose is what is needed here.

MITCHAMORE:

Intercontinental Championship-Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose ©

The Chris Jericho that we’ve seen the last two weeks absolutely sucks. It’s not 1999 if you want to me to enjoy Chris Jericho he needs to turn heel The rocker version of Chris Jericho feels old and feels boring.  If you turn him heel you can build a great program with a guy like Dean Ambrose.

Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles

With John Cena out and the lack of star power the WWE has to finally green light the return of Daniel Bryan. AJ needs a major match at WrestleMania so he can show what he can do on the grandest stage of them all. Daniel Bryan needs a major match that doesn’t involve a title.  This is a match that appeals to the casual and hardcore fan base all in one.

SHOEMAKER:

The Undertaker vs. Kevin Owens

Everybody is moving up because of injuries, and that means Owens will be in a semi-main-event spot. If the Wyatt and Lesnar attack doesn’t happen in the Rumble, then I could definitely see an angry, just lost his match against Dean Ambrose for the intercontinental title Kevin Owens taking out The Undertaker from the match because he eliminated him. Owens therefore eliminated Undertaker after he himself already had been by the deadman, setting them up for WrestleMania.

Tag Team Championship Ladder Match-New Day (c) vs The Uso’s vs The Dudley Boyz

It wouldn’t be a WrestleMania without a multi-person ladder match. With New Day’s popularity, Dudley Boyz back and The Uso’s needing a match—this match sets up perfectly. I could see another team added like the Lucha Dragons or members of League of Nations or even American Alpha if they were called up.
