The Latest on Sami Zayn’s NXT Ring Return
According to talkSPORT.com, Sami Zayn will make his return to an NXT ring tomorrow, after six months on the bench, and he will headline the first night of NXT’s tour of the UK. Zayn is scheduled to challenge NXT champion Finn Balor for the title tomorrow night, and he is also scheduled to face Finn and Baron Corbin in a three-way encounter at Saturday’s show in Sheffield.
Note on Current WWE Champs
For what it’s worth, all of the current WWE Champions had their titles with them during last night’s Tribute to the Troops tapings, even though the special does not air until 12/23. This doesn’t necessarily mean all the Champions will retain at WWE TLC, as it’s possible last night’s footage could be edited so you don’t see the title held by a current champion.
Attendance & Crowd News from Last Night’s WWE TV Tapings
As noted, a fan carrying a “Chris Jericho” sign had the sign confiscated by security at last night’s WWE Tribute to the Troops and Smackdown tapings. Below are some Tweets regarding last night’s taping attendance and crowd from the same fan who reported the Jericho sign news:
This crowd is dead and probably about 3K
