Last night, WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio competed at World Wrestling Council’s “Lockout” event at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and was attacked by a fan seated at ringside.
Del Rio had committed to the WWC event before he signed with WWE, and during a match against Ray Gonzalez he was attacked, as seen in the video player below, by a fan. The fan was ejected from the building and the match eventually continued. The bout’s finish saw Del Rio lose via DQ when Gonzalez’ Figure-Four Leg lock was broken up by Del Rio’s younger brother El Hijo de Dos Caras.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
