Last Week’s TNA and ROH Viewership See Big Increases
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, last Wednesday’s edition of Ring of Honor on Destination America averaged 141,000 viewers, which is up 24% from the previous week’s 114,000 viewership average.
Similarly, last week’s edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Destination America averaged 234,000 viewers, which is up 16% from the previous week’s 202,000 viewership average.
The midnight replay of Impact took in 78,000 viewers, for a total of 312,000 viewers this past week, up 11% from the previous week’s record-low on Destination America total of 280,000 viewers.
Vince McMahon Talks SD! Moving to USA Network
WWE.com has published a new article looking at Smackdown’s move to USA Network in January 2016. In the article, Vince McMahon had the following to say about Smackdown’s move:
“WWE is proud to have SmackDown join Raw as part of our expanded partnership with USA Network. The combination of the No. 1 cable network and two ratings juggernauts provides a destination for our viewers and an extraordinary platform for our partners.”
