WWE Hall Of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts was recently on Adam Carolla’s podcast and made mention of a new wrestling company he’d be working with.

The company is based in Las Vegas and they would have Roberts as a trainer, and he said the company offers full medical and retirement packages to wrestlers. Roberts also mentioned this in an interview with our own Nick Hausman on Wrestlezone Radio back in September, but said this is a new company, not Global Force Wrestling or TNA. Roberts originally said it would start in November, but gave a December start date on Carolla’s show.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter added that Shane Douglas was rumored to be involved with a similar promotion years ago, but it never happened. Douglas, along with Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk and Jake Roberts were mentioned as being the trainers.

The subject of her eventually being a WWE Hall Of Fame inductee was brought up, and Molly (Nora Greenwald) said she’d welcome it, but doesn’t think she should be asked before a few other people who she thinks are more deserving than her.

“There are a lot of people I would like to see in there [WWE Hall of Fame] before me… if I even get in. I always viewed myself as glorified enhancement talent; someone they would give the title to, to put over the real stars. I don’t see myself as a future Hall of Famer— of course if they asked me to, I’d love to, I wouldn’t turn it down — but there are some other ladies who should be in there long before I am.”
