Two Top Indy Names Reportedly Sign with WWE

According to The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, WWE has signed top indy talents Rich Swann and Biff Busick. Swann and Busick will report to the WWE Performance Center pending the passing of a physical.

Both men have previously worked for EVOLVE, which is under the WWN banner, and as noted WWN officials met with WWE officials at NXT Takeover Brooklyn to discuss a working relationship.

Swann is 24, and began his career in CZW before he went on to work for EVOLVE and Dragon Gate USA.

Busick is 29, and is a former CZW Champion. He has also worked for EVOLVE, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and was trained by Lance Storm.

WWE Stock Update

WWE stock was up 2.92% today, closing at $20.06 per share.
