Nikki Bella Responds to WZ Report?

As we exclusively reported last week, sources in WWE told us John Cena was involved in nixing plans for Charlotte to win the WWE Divas Title from Nikki Bella upon Charlotte’s arrival to the main roster. In what might be a response to that report, Bella Tweeted the following:

Backstage News on Plans for Nia Jax in WWE NXT

As noted, yet-to-debut NXT talent Nia Jax, whose real name is Lina Fanene, and who is the real life cousin of The Rock, will be debuting on NXT TV soon.

According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE is looking to build her up as a huge monster in the company, similar to the way TNA presents Awesome Kong. You can check out a promo video for Jax’s debut below:

This Week’s Smackdown Twitter Ratings

This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown ranked #2 among non-sporting events for the night in Nielsen’s Twitter TV ratings, behind Big Brother.

SmackDown drew a unique audience of 651,000, which represents the number of Twitter accounts that commented on the show. This number is down from last week’s 1.037 million.

This week’s show drew total impressions of 2.309 million, which represents the number of times the show was tweeted about. This number is also down from last week’s 2.744 million.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
