Jerry Lynn Fundraiser Update; Goal Met And Exceeded, Angelina Love / TNA Status Update

Angelina Love / TNA Status Update

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

It was recently reported that newlyweds and Impact Wrestling stars Davey Richards and Angelina Love were expecting their first child.

TNA did an angle at the most recent Impact Wrestling tapings setting up a Beautiful People reunion with Love, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne regrouping. The group going ahead will just be Rayne and Velvet due to Love’s sabbatical leave, but she was part of the angle to get the regroup back together. She took part in a few angles but didn’t compete, which would imply TNA did know about the pregnancy before the couple announced it publicly.

Jerry Lynn Fundraiser Update

Brian Fritz of Sporting News and Between The Ropes podcast issued the following update, noting the GoFundMe campaign to assist pro wrestler Jerry Lynn with medical related costs has met and exceeded its goal:

Just after midnight Thursday night on the east coast, the GoFundMe campaign to help Jerry Lynn reached its goal. As of this morning, it has now exceeded the goal and risen to $17,585.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the campaign and helped spread the word to make this happen. All together, 501 people donated which is truly amazing.

The wrestling community and its fans really pulled together to help out Jerry including those that don’t have much but still made a donation.  And so many people had such nice things to say about Jerry as a person and their fond memories of him in the ring.

The campaign also received donations from the likes of Steve Corino, Kevin Kelly, Adam Cole, Christopher Daniels, Nick Aldis, Eric Young, Lita, Court Bauer, Charles Robinson, Bill Behrens and others including very generous donations from Mick Foley, Austin Aries, Scott D’Amore and Chris Jericho who actually put the campaign over the top.

The campaign is still open and you can donate at www.GoFundMe.com/helpjerrylynn and the money above the goal wil be donated to the Nashville Rescue Mission which offers food, clothing, and shelter to the homeless and recovery programs to those having problems.
