WWE announced the cast and hosts for the upcoming return of Tough Enough on the USA Network. Chris Jericho will take Steve Austin’s place as host, with Billy Gunn, Booker T and Lita as trainers. Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige will have some sort of “all-star panel”, although details on what that means are scarce. 

sami zaynSami Zayn made his main roster debut with a bang, answering John Cena’s U.S. Open Challenge after an introduction from Bret Hart, in his hometown of Montreal, Canada. Zayn wrestled a good match with Cena, but dislocated his shoulder during his ring entrance and worked the entire match hurt. We are still waiting for confirmation on how long he’ll be out of action, but it most likely won’t come until after this week’s episode of NXT in order to keep up with pre-recorded storylines. 

WWE is finally working on a documentary and DVD set for the late Owen Hart. It was originally reported that they were going ahead with the consent and support of Martha Hart (Owen’s widow), but Martha released a statement saying that wasn’t true, and that she would NEVER support the release of the DVD. 

Hideo Itami suffered a serious injury at a recent event. He is expected to miss several months of television, and will definitely not be competing in the #1 contender’s match at NXT Takeover. 

Two big names are rumored to return on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. 

Bill DeMott broke his silence after being released from WWE following rumors and allegations of verbal and physical abuse during his training sessions over the years. Instead of taking responsibility for anything, DeMott blamed the entitlement of the millennial generation. Morale in developmental is said to be much better since he left. 

Vince McMahon isn’t blind. There’s a bigger story, sort of…
