WWE European Tour Results (4/10): Belfast, Northern Ireland; Reigns vs Show, Woods Says New Day Doesn’t Suck, Balor vs Neville & More

4/10/15

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Opening match was Neville v Finn Balor. Both quite popular with the crowd but Balor getting the win with the top rope frog splash.

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd v New Day (Kofi and Big E) for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The whole New Day Sucks thing went on for quite a bit, Natalya gets involved and the champs get the win with the swing and kick finisher.

Xavier Woods then cuts a promo about how New Day doesn’t suck etc and R-Truth comes out and this leads to a match with Truth getting the win.

Jimmy Uso beat Fandango with Rosa in a quick but rather decent match, Jimmy gets the win with a top rope frog splash.

They run the video for Connor ‘The Crusher’ for the crowd and his Hall of Fame induction. Really touching and gets applause from the crowd.

Bray Wyatt, Bad News Barrett and Sheamus v Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and IC Champ Daniel Bryan. Sheamus gets on the mic and rips into the crowd and enrages them about North/South Ireland and calls them losers etc – cheers turn to boos very quick!! Bryan and Dolph get the biggest pops of the night for sure, YES chants through the building and crowd goes nuts. Good long entertaining match with Bryan finally getting tagged and gets the win with a running knee on BNB.

INTERMISSION

Alicia Fox, Cameron and Rosa v Summer Rae, Emma and Natalya. Cameron basically carries Emma through the match but Natalya gets the win with the sharpshooter.

The Miz v Damien Mizdow – Plenty of heat for Miz and his promo and was quite surprised Mizdow got the win here. Obviously building to a match at Extreme Rules but good entertainment.

Belfast Street Fight – Big Show v Roman Reigns. Big big pop for Reigns as expected and great match with crowd into it. Finish came when Show through himself through a table and Reigns speared him for the pin.

Full face of face wins tonight 8-0!

Crowd pretty full tonight about 90-95%.

Cool thing that happened for me was seeing Finlay by a far entrance while he was watching the match. Ran over and shook his hand and he was the main Booker for the show.

Biggest Heat – Miz/Sheamus/New Day

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
