The following press release has been issued, announcing The Rebellion Network’s new slot on Chicago radio for their pro wrestling podcast.
The Rebellion Network will partner with Lumpen Radio to bring the “TRN Wrestling” podcast to Chicago’s WLPN 105.5 FM station:
TRN Wrestling Coming To WLPN 105.5 FM Chicago
The Rebellion Network is proud to announce a championship sized partnership with Lumpen Radio. The two will be working together to bring TRN’s pro wrestling podcast, TRN Wrestling, to WLPN 105.5 FM Chicago. Currently you can subscribe to TRN Wrestling via iTunes & Stitcher as a podcast. This Summer TRN Wrestling will begin broadcasting live on the airwaves and taking pro wrestling fans calls.
TRN Wrestling is hosted by comedian and pro wrestling personality Nick Hausman. Nick is a 10+ year veteran of the Chicago comedy, pro wrestling and podcasting communities. As bad guy manager Rinaldo Piven, Nick most notably fueded with Billy Corgan in RESISTANCE Pro wrestling. Nick can be seen on WCIU-TOO Saturdays at 2 am starting May 2nd as one of the hosts for Freelance Wrestling TV. He also hosts the official WWE Blast Area PPV Viewing Party events at Duffy’s Tavern in Chicago each month.
Each episode of TRN Wrestling features an eclectic mix of some of Chicago’s best performers who love pro wrestling. Including appearances from Freelance Wrestling’s Robert “The Ego” Anthony, Joey Ryan and “Marvelous” Matt Knicks. You can also hear appearances from performers like 100 Proof Comedy’s Jamie Campbell, Comedians You Should Know’s Martin Morrow and Folk City Hustler Ross W Berman IV.
TRN Wrestling provides punditry about the hottest goings on in the world of pro wrestling from day to day. Including coverage of all major events, reviews of shows, interviews with major Superstars and opinions about all the dirt behind the scenes. Each episode also features tons of interactive games, call-ins and give aways with fans.
You can support the launch of TRN Wrestling on WLPN 105.5 FM by attending the 100 Watt Kick-Off Party on April 23rd. It will be hosted by Lumpen Radio at the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport from 6-11 pm.
