Former NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte recently talked to Cleveland.com in promoting tonight’s NXT live event at the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio.
Charlotte talks about being part of Triple H’s Wrestlemania 30 entrance, the current buzz NXT has with fans, reaching the main WWE roster, and more. You can read a few excerpts below:
Charlotte Talks NXT Having Buzz
I think it really helps that a lot of the faces on NXT were really popular on the independent seen prior. But I think fans gravitate towards us in general because our show is fresh and new. The writers, coaches and Triple H are all hands on.
On Being A Part Of Triple H’s Entrance:
Oh wow. First of all I’ve been going to WrestleMania with my family for a long time. It was my first WrestleMania without my brother (who passed away in March 2013), so it was emotional for him not to be there. But then to be a part of it, I can’t even describe it. To stand in front of 83,000 people was just amazing.
Charlotte’s Thoughts On Moving To The Main Roster:
Right now I’m just focused on what I have going on at NXT. Until the day they bring me up, I would make that my next focus. It would mean a lot to me coming from NXT. For now, I want to continue to build the NXT brand.
