Reaction To NXT Takeover: Rival, How Should Sheamus Return, Why Rikishi In WWE Hall Of Fame Makes Sense This Year

Caroline Collins leads us into another exciting edition of Heel or Face! Justin LaBar and Josh Isenberg give their proverbial thumbs up, or thumbs down, to topics given by Collins. This week, the guys focus on NXT Takeover, Rikishi, and Sheamus.

The NXT special event, “NXT Takeover: Rival”, received high praise in almost every wrestling circle, and LaBar and Isenberg do not disagree. Both do show slight concern, however. Who warns of comparisons to Raw and Smackdown, and who is pulling a “Daniel Bryan” over Sami Zayn’s NXT title run?

A native of San Francisco, Rikishi was announced Monday as the newest member of the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class. LaBar and Isenberg heavily debate whether or not Rikishi in WWE Hall of Fame was a good choice for this year’s class, or worthy of the honor at all.

Promos have been appearing on Raw and Smackdown teasing the return of Sheamus. Out with injury since late November, what role will “The Celtic Warrior” play when he returns, and where could he be most valuable to the WWE roster?

As always, join in the conversation below, and give us your thoughts on this week’s Heel or Face topics!
