CBS Sports picked up on an interesting play during yesterday’s Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets football game, which saw Jets center “backdrop” an opposing player.
Mangold sent Steelers safety Mike Mitchell up in the air after Mitchell tried to rush past the line of scrimmage during a kneel down at the end of the game. Following the game, Mangold saw the Vine clip (seen below) and told a Newsday beat writer that Mitchell went for a dirty play, and he [Mangold] doesn’t do anything by accident.
