Rey Mysterio Return Update
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting WWE officials recently contacted Rey Mysterio about a return to the company, but Rey turned it down.
Mysterio was asked a few weeks back about returning on WWE’s recent tour of Mexico, in part due to ticket sales being lower than expected. Mysterio told them no and made it clear that he didn’t want to go back.
It was also reported that Mysterio had a face-to-face meeting with Vince McMahon this week at RAW, but it’s not yet known how it went, or what they discussed. It was said that Mysterio wanted to speak about leaving the company, but nothing has been comfirmed since the meeting actually took place.
