Final WWE RAW Rating
Monday night’s final WWE RAW rating was a 2.84, up from last week’s 2.71 rating.
We previously reported the show also drew 4.04 million viewers, up from last week’s 3.745 million viewers. This was WWE’s best drawing episode of RAW since August 18th.
Malenko vs Guerrero
WWE.com recently posted an article taking an in-depth look at the feud between Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero. The piece talks about their encounters in ECW and WCW, and features comments from William Regal, Fit Finlay, Paul Heyman and Malenko himself.
Regarding their time in ECW and how the fans treated them, Malenko said:
“They were extremely appreciative and very respectful of both me and Eddie and what we did from a performance standpoint the whole time we were there,” Malenko said. “That really helped us, because wrestling is all about feeding off the audiences and audiences feeding off the talent.”
Big Show also added his thoughts, talking about why the rivalry worked so well:
“That’s the thing,” explained Big Show, who debuted in WCW around the time Malenko and Guerrero joined the company. “A lot of times when you get great rivalries it’s because the two guys are great friends and they push each other every night to go out and have the best match on the card. When you look at Eddie and Dean’s rivalry back then, just the way things were executed, it was poetry in motion.”
