WWE Star Returns
WWE Superstar Curtis Axel recently returned to television this week, defeating Justin Gabriel in a match on WWE Main Event last night.
Axel has been off of TV since his former partner, Ryback, was sidelined after recovering from various injuries and surgery. While is was reported that Axel was held off of shows because of Ryback’s absence, Michael Cole did mention on commentary that Axel had also been away due to (storyline) injury.
Cole didn’t mention anything specific, but said Axel claims to be back and “better than ever before.”
