Big Rumor: WWE Reportedly Dropping One of Its Annual Themed PPVs

According to Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who we have noted before appears to be a verified WWE insider based on several WWE stories he or she has broken in the past, WWE is planning to drop the yearly Elimination Chamber PPV. He wrote the following on Friday:

“Word going around backstage this past Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings are that the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be no more. The early lead names going around to replace the Elimination Chamber name will be either WWE Fast Lane or WWE Fast Track.”

“The reason is because there is only one WWE / World Champion right now. So they want to stay with the Rumble winner receiving the shot and have no Chamber even with the title holder in the match.”

Despite the annual PPV being dropped, the Reddit user noted he expects the Elimination Chamber match to be kept around as a match for certain PPV events which call for it.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
