According to a new article by Variety, 15-time WWE Champion John Cena has plans to get into television production. He is connected with “Pawn Stars” producer Leftfield Pictures, and wants to create “unscripted series that revolve mostly around unknown individuals from all walks of life with compelling stories to tell.”
Not much is known about their collaboration at the moment, as Cena and Leftfield Pictures are keeping things quiet, but he did mention they already have a few ideas “in the pipeline” already. The production company is most well known for putting out the “Pawn Stars” series and its spin-offs, as well as unscripted programming like “Counting Cars” and “American Restoration”, which connected them to Cena, who is a major car fanatic.
For now, WWE will not be directly involved with any of their projects, but they have included an option for the company to get involved if they can “spark creatively to any of the concepts”.
