News On Sting And Hulk Hogan Retirement Matches At Wrestlemania 31, The Hardys Promote The ‘Epic Sequel’ With The Young Bucks

Sting And Hulk Hogan Retirement MatchesSting And Hulk Hogan Retirement Matches

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is still a possiblity that both Hulk Hogan and Sting could both wrestle their retirement matches at Wrestlemania 31.

Hogan has been vocal about wanting to return to the ring one more time, and has hinted that he would want to face John Cena in the match. Hogan would obviously need to pass a physical first, and if he could the indication is that he would be used in some way. There’s a chance that Cena might already have a match already planned, so if WWE doesn’t book the two together, they could come up with something different for Hogan.

As far as Sting goes, he has indicated that he wants one more match, and has said in the past that we would want to work with Triple H or The Undertaker.

It could definitely boost ticket sales if both retirement matches were on the card, but they probably wouldn’t be advertised as such.

Hardys’ Epic Sequel

The Hardys cut the following promo for their upcoming match for Northeast Wrestling against the Young Bucks.

Matt and Jeff are dubbing this match the ‘epic sequel’ to their highly praised match against the Bucks at ‘Wrestling Under The Stars III’ this past summer. The Hardys versus The Young Bucks two will take place on October 18th at their Autumn Ambush event.
