Linda McMahon Talks Building WWE with Vince
Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon spoke at the Real Simple/TIME Women & Success Panel in New York City yesterday, and below is a highlight from her speech:
On building WWE alongside Vince:
“I’ve been often asked, did you never dream you would be where you are today? And I say no, because you were too busy building, doing, step by step… As the company grew, and all of those different departments began to mesh, we kept looking at great success in the things we were doing, I would step back and say ‘where are you now compared to where you were before you did this thing?”
Who Should Face Lesnar Next for the WWE Title?
WWE.com has posted a new poll asking who (outside of John Cena) should face Brock Lesnar next for the WWE World Title. With over 28,000 votes cast, Dean Ambrose currently leads with 31% of the vote. The options include Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Kane, Big Show and Other.
Next Beyond the Ring Revealed
The next new episode of Beyond The Ring airing this week on the WWE Network, wlll focus on Ric Flair.
The episode will be the documentary portion of Flair’s 2008 DVD, and below is the synopsis:
“Ric Flair has seen it all and has taken on all challengers. This documentary looks at the incredible life and career of this WWE Legend.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
