Who is Hideo Itami’s First NXT Opponent?, News on His Finishing Move, Major Name Added to Bound for Glory, Possibly Re-Signed w/TNA

News on Kenta’s WWE NXT In-Ring Debut

For those of you who do not want to read the NXT spoilers from last night, here are a few non-spoiler notes from the in-ring debut of Hideo Itami, fka Kenta.

-His first NXT opponent will be Justin Gabriel, and that match will take place on NXT TV this Thursday night.

-Itami was used in some form on every episode of NXT taped last night. 4 episodes of the show were taped during night.

-One of Itami’s finishing maneuvers appears to be the diving double foot stomp, which is similar to the finisher used by TNA star Low Ki.

Major Name Added to Bound for Glory

TNA is now advertising Bobby Roode and Bully Ray for the Bound for Glory PPV taking place in October.

While it has not been confirmed nor announced by TNA, the adding of Bully Ray to the Bound for Glory line-up might could mean the company has re-signed Bully Ray. If that is indeed the case, Ray would likely return at the next set of Impact tapings from Bethlehem, PA.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
