“Guardians of the Galaxy” Hits Major Box Office Status

alberto del rio Marvel’s “Guardian’s of the Galaxy,” starring Batista as Drax the Destroyer, returned to the top of the box office this weekend, and has overcome “Transformers 4” as the number one grossing film of the summer.

Domestic and international numbers have the movie totaling a whopping $500 million at the box office so far.

Big Update on Del Rio’s Next Wrestling Appearance

According to PWInsider.com, at the end of today’s World Wrestling Council TV show in Puerto Rico, “El Magnate” Juan Manuel Ortega was seen in a backstage segment talking to someone on the phone named El Patron. We now know El Patron is the name Alberto Del Rio will be using in Mexico, and during the phone call segment, Ortega said he needed Patron to help him take care of someone in Puerto Rico and that he’d pick him up at the airport.

Ortega ended the call by thanking El Patron, and then he said “looking forward to seeing you this week.”

So it appears as if Del Rio will be making another appearance outside the U.S. very soon.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
