Details of Hulk Hogan’s Birthday Celebration on WWE Raw: Celebrity Guests, Hall of Fame Appearances, Brock Lesnar & More; Did the nWo Reform?

hulk hoganWWE celebrated Hulk Hogan’s birthday tonight on Monday Night Raw, live from the Moda Center in Portland, OR.  Throughout the night, several celebrities and sports icons sent in their pre-recorded well-wishes for the Hulkster, including “Weird Al” Yankovic, Larry King, Drew Brees from the New Orleans Saints, AJ Hawk and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, and the band Florida Georgia Line.

In the final segment of the night, the entire WWE locker room came out to the stage, and the ring was decorated in the tradition Hulk Hogan red and yellow. Mean Gene was on hand as the host, along with his real-life best friend Jimmy Hart.

The WWE production crew had prepared a video package that showed highlights of Hogan’s entire career. Hulk came out and cut an old school promo, including a “let me tell you somethin’ Mean Gene!” and plugged the WWE Network – for just $9.99!

“Nature Boy” Ric Flair started off the list of legends that showed up for Hulk Hogan’s birthday, followed by “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper then came out to a great reaction, followed by both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in nWo shirts. Hulk ripped off his classic shirt to reveal the nWo shirt underneath, and Nash led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday. Brock Lesnar then crashed the party, along with Paul Heyman, but John Cena hit the ring to make the save and nothing ended up happening.
