Last Week’s TNA Impact Rating
The 8/7 edition of TNA Impact Wrestling ended with a final rating of 1.09 with an average of 1.41 million viewers. This is up from last week’s Destination X special which did a 1.05, but not quite as high as officials were hoping for. The show had been built around Dixie Carter going through a table, a segment which they had spoiled for weeks in hopes of bringing in viewers for the big moment. They even used #ItHappens as the official hashtag in all their social media promotion since the taping took place last month.
The lowest quarter-hour rating came in Q3 during the 6-man tag team match, following a low Q2 talking segment. The high point was the Q5 Team 3D vs. Team Carter match where most people thought Dixie would end up going through a table. The actual moment, which came in the final segment of the show, finished strong with a 1.15, the second highest of the night.
