PHOTO: More Evidence That WWE Smackdown Might Be Moving to Thursdays

As we reported last night, a fan posted a photo of the parking lot area of The Laredo Energy Center, the site of the WWE Smackdown tapings, and a production truck featured a promotion for Smackdown airing on Thursday nights.

The official Facebook page of The Laredo Energy Center has posted a different photo of what appears to be the same truck, featuring the same WWE Smackdown promotion.

Paglino: The move back to Thursday nights makes sense to me. Right now Smackdown feels like the “B” show more than ever, and for those of you who have yet to watch the new Paul Heyman DVD, (which is amazing, by the way) even Heyman admits Smackdown is clearly the “B” show.

Smackdown used to feel like a continuation of Raw, and moving the show back to Thursday nights will be a step in the right direction. Of course solid creative and an advancement of the story lines is also necessary for the show to thrive, but a move to Thursday takes Smackdown out of the dreaded Friday night time slot and should immediately help viewership numbers.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
