WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso vs. Ryback
Jey does some showing off early on, trying to get the crowd behind him. Ryback bullies the first few minutes of the match, fairly easily. Jey with a sunset flip over the top rope, but Ryback catches him in the air and tosses him with a big back body drop. The crowd starts the “U-SO!” chants and Jey fights back with a few knife-edge chops and another sunset flip – this time he hooks it for a nearfall. Another big back body drop from Ryback, but Uso lands on his feet and slaps the taste out of his opponent. Jey comes off the top rope, but Ryback catches him with a snap spinebuster. He sets up for the Meathook Clothesline, but Uso catches him with a Samoan Drop. Curtis Axel gets on the apron but Jimmy Uso is out to make the save. The distraction is enough for Ryback to get the clothesline for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Ryback
KILLAM: Some really good, short matches tonight so far. Lots of intensity from guys who generally just exist in the mid-card, and I’m liking it. Main Event is basically turning into the mid-card show, and it’s working to get a lot of these guys more comfortable, and in better places on the roster as a result. Could be the next tag feud you’re seeing here…
