A fan who attended Ring of Honor’s television taping in Dearborn, MI this weekend has posted Kevin Steen’s emotional farewell on YouTube.
Steen was greeted by the entire ROH roster, Cary Silken, Nigel McGuinness and more. He specifically mentioned Christopher Daniels, The Briscoes, Matt Taven’s hair, Steve Corino for teaching him how to be a good father, ROH World Champion Michael Elgin, the ring crew, and many many more.
Steen will be reporting to WWE developmental this August.
KILLAM: For those that don’t know, Steen has been one of the biggest names in independent pro wrestling over the past few years, and in my estimation is one of the best 2 or 3 ROH World Champs ever. If/when he makes it to NXT he’ll join his long-time friend, partner and rival Sami Zayn (formerly El Generico). And of course if he makes it to the main roster, there’s plenty of talent he’s familiar with, including Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan.
