Brock Lesnar Return Date

brock lesnarBrock Lesnar’s official return date is scheduled for next Monday, July 21st. There is still the possibility that he makes an appearance at Sunday’s WWE Battleground PPV, but he will definitely be on Raw the following night to begin the road to SummerSlam.

WWE has also been advertising Flo Rida to perform that night, so it looks like they will be capitalizing on the Brock Lesnar return, the big musical number and the post-PPV boost to draw a big crowd next Monday.

Cesaro’s Babyface Push on Hold?

It seems as though WWE is intentionally keeping Cesaro on the back-burner at the moment, in terms of turning him babyface and pushing him to the top of the card. The focus is currently on Roman Reigns and trying to turn him into a main event level star, and WWE still wants to keep John Cena and Daniel Bryan – when he returns, of course – at the same level. The thought is that right now, if they were to turn Cesaro and give him a similar treatment, he wouldn’t have a lot of space to grow.

For the foreseeable future, expect Cesaro to remain a heel and continue working in the middle of the card, at least until the Roman Reigns experiment has concluded, one way or another. When there’s more of an opportunity to give him the spotlight he deserves as a babyface, WWE will be more likely to pull that trigger.
